A team from the University of Cape Coast, UCC, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, has opened UCC's exhibition at the 18th Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) Annual General Meeting in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The exhibition, which started on December 12, 2022, enabled patrons to catch a glimpse of a range of UCC photos on display showcasing activities of the University from the past to the present.
At the occasion, the University also showcased its achievements in research and innovations as the number one University in Ghana and West Africa, fourth in Africa, twenty-fourth in terms of research influence globally and among the top four hundred (400) universities globally.
The Exhibition also afforded the University the opportunity to explore, forge new partnerships, network and build international linkages to progressively achieve its vision of becoming a University that is strongly positioned with worldwide acclaim.
Amongst the patrons who visited the UCC stand was Prof. Intisar Al-Zein Saghiroun, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Government of Sudan.
Some patrons, both locals and foreigners, who visited the stand expressed keen interest in enrolling in UCC in the near future.
UCC was among one hundred and forty (140) Universities from the African continent that exhibited at the AGM.
