The Ambassador of France to Ghana, H. E. Annie Sophie Avé, has paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor of University of Cape Coast, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong.
Welcoming the ambassador, Prof. Boampong expressed gratitude for the visit and was hopeful it will deepen relations between the two. He also presented some souvenirs from UCC to her.
The Ambassador, on her part, was grateful for the warmth extended her and took advantage of the visit to interact with some students of the university. She also introduced to the Vice Chancellor and other principal officers of the university present, the newly appointed Attaché for Scientific and Higher Education Co-operation, Dr. Florent Engelmann.
During her interaction with the students, H. E. Avé answered questions about study and work opportunities as well as funding possibilities for Ghanaian students.
