Dr. Kwabena Antwi-Konadu has officially assumed office as Acting Director of the Directorate of Public Affairs of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
He takes over from Major Kofi Baah Bentum (rtd) who officially retired on 31st July, 2025.
His appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Johnson Nyarko-Boampong.
Prior to his appointment, Dr. Antwi-Konadu served in the capacity as General Manager of the Campus Broadcasting Services.
Dr. Antwi-Konadu, a seasoned administrator, brings more than 30 years of leadership experience to the role, with expertise in broadcasting, radio management, and communication.
His appointment is expected to strengthen the Directorate's mission of safeguarding the image of the University.
He has contributed extensively to community service by playing critical role on key committees and boards in the University, including Board of Convocation amongst others.
