Dept. Of Hospitality and Tourism Management Deepens Collaboration with Cooperative State University
Two faculty members and seven students of the Dept. of Hospitality and Tourism Management of the University of Cape Coast(UCC) have visited the Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Lorrach, Germany.
Two faculty members and seven students of the Dept. of Hospitality and Tourism Management of the University of Cape Coast(UCC) have visited the Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Lorrach, Germany.
The Ghanaian delegation were received by Prof. Dr. Johannes Kern, the Pro Rector at DHBW, as well as Valentin Weislame, the Head of the Department of Tourism at DHBW and Prof. Wendy Felhner , the Lead Projector.
The visiting faculty and students, while in Germany from August 18-29, will engage and interact with key public and private stakeholders in the tourism sector to learn best industrial practices.The visit, aimed at connecting higher education and business in Ghana and Germany, was part of an ongoing project on cultural exchange between the two institutions.
The visit will afford the two sides the opportunity for cultural exchange, indicating the commitment of faculties and students from both institutions to cross- cultural learning and internationalisation.The Ghanaian delegation is expected in Ghana on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
