The new Head of Department of Soil Science, Dr. Kofi Atiah, has assumed work after a short handover ceremony.
At the ceremony, Dr. Atiah paid a glowing tribute to the immediate past Head of Department, Prof. Kwame Agyei Frimpong, and gave assurance that he would continue from the solid work his predecessor had left off.
Dr. Atiah said he would draw on the rich experiences of his predecessors to enrich his tenure and called on staff and students to support him.

On his part, the former HOD, Prof. Kwame Agyei Frimpong expressed gratitude to the staff of the Department for their support and cooperation during his tenure.
He said he would utilize his wealth of experience to support the new HOD to succeed during his tenure.
Speakers at the event admonished the new HOD to operate an open-door administration for success.
